Ivan Perisic set to leave Tottenham for Hajduk Split
𝓀Taking to social media last night, Romano has said that talks are now advancing into the ‘final stages’ over a deal to see Perisic move to Hajduk on loan.
💟The experienced winger apparently sees a move home as the dream return and Tottenham are apparently open to the loan move until the end of the season.
💧Tottenham signed Perisic on a free transfer when Antonio Conte was in charge. The winger had previously enjoyed superb spells at Bayern Munich and Inter Milan, with the Italian side even forking out for his services back in 2015.
Spurs doing the right thing
⭕For Tottenham, this is a actually a bit of a bonus getting rid of a player who everyone knows takes up a hefty wage at the club.
🧜Perisic has had a fine career and really, given his injury status, it’s only right that Spurs allow him to move back home and finish up where he started.
✨Quite whether or not he will see any game time this season, is open to debate. The belief was that Perisic would miss the season so whether something has changed there, is unknown.
𝕴However, it’s a smart move all around by everyone and hopefully, Perisic can leave with his head held high and go and help out back in his homeland.
