Desire Doue is one ꦓ💯of the most talented young players in Europe.
The Frenchman, still only 19 years old, has been attracting i☂nterest from some of the biggest clubs in the world in recent months.
Tottenham have been linked with a move t🐟o si𒅌gn Doue as well. Reports have claimed that Spurs boss Postecoglou has perso🍨nally made Doue his priority target in this window.
The teenager🙈 started 17 games for Rennes in Ligue 1 in the 2023/24 season and was directly involved in nine goals, which is not bad at all for someone of his🍰 age.
It is looking increasingly ☂likely that Doue will ☂leave Rennes in this summer’s transfer window, and he is not short of suitors.
Tottenham are one of the clubs interested in signing him, and Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that t💮here has been so𝕴me contact between Doue’s agents and Spurs.
When asked about Tottenham’s interest in Doue, Eberechi Eze and Pedro Neto, 🎀the journalist told : “Yes, they want to bring in one more [attacker], so for sure these are all names being considered by Tottenham.
“For Desire Doue, there i🅠s interest from several clubs in Bayern and Paris Saint-Germain – and so it is not an easy race for Desire Doue. But, Tottenham have had some contact with his🍒 agents.”
What Doue would bring to Tottenham
Tottenham are building a veryౠ exciting young squad, and we think Doue would fit in really well.
Postecoglou has shown that he is happy to give chances to yo💞ung players, and the talented Rennes youngster checks a lot of boxes.
Doue is an outstanding dribbler. His skills on the ball are just a joy to watch and he has the ability to take players on when he’s on the run. He has a fantastic right foot too and 🐽his finishing is not too bad either.
The teenager is also incredibly versatile. He can play on either wing, as a number 10 and aജlso in a box-to-box role, which makes him a manager’s dream because of the options he provides every week.
Doue’s teammate Baptiste Santamaria rave🌳d about him earlier in 2ꦬ024, and claimed that the 19-year-old has the potential to become ‘‘ when he adds a bit more consistency to his game.
