Tottenham’s summer transfer plans are kicking into gear now and they could have a sale to announce as early as next week.
Spurs have already made moves to bring players in, with Timo Werner arriving for another loan spell and Archie Gray signing for big money from Leeds.
However, it’s been well-documented that Tottenham also want to move players on as they reshape the squad.
Ange Postecoglou was clear in his views on that happening at the back end of last season and there now looks to be some movement on that front.
A number of Tottenham players are open to moving on as Postecoglou wields the axe.
And according to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham could be moving closer to getting one sale over the line.

AC Milan edging closer to signing Emerson Royal from Tottenham
Taking to X to provide the update on Emerson Royal’s future, Romano has said that the deal is moving along now.
He claims that Milan are going to come back with a new offer of around £13m next week and hope that will be enough to convince Spurs to do the deal.
Royal has also apparently agreed to the move as well, with a five-year contract agreed with the Serie A giants.
Of course, sanctioning a sale for around that £13m figure will give Tottenham a loss of around the same amount in terms of what they paid in the first place.
Royal played an important squad role last season for Spurs as he filled in across the whole back four at times.
However, at right-back, he is firmly behind Pedro Porro in the pecking order while Archie Gray’s arrival also gives Postecoglou another option down that side.
Postecoglou did label Royal as being ‘‘ last season but it’s clear he is a player who can move on.
Spurs, then, will be hoping this one goes along without a hitch and they can bring some money back into the club.
