Manchester United set to beat Liverpool to Leny Yoro signing

🥂Liverpool have been up against the likes of Man United and Real Madrid for the Lille defender, and now it looks as though the Red Devils have won the race.

🍰Following more tests, the 18-year-old will pen a five-year deal, added the transfer insider.
ꦑMeanwhile, the two clubs have also prepared all the documents necessary to get a £42million deal – plus add-ons – over the line.
Yoro tipped for stardom
𓃲Barring a dramatic late twist, it looks like Liverpool have missed out on Yoro, with their bitter rivals set to win the race for a player tipped for stardom.
ꦡ listed Yoro at number 10 in their NxGn 2024 list of the top 50 young footballers in the world back in March. He is also the highest-ranked defender.
𒁃In addition, ‘s European correspondent Sebastian Stafford-Bloor has deemed Yoro ‘one of Europe’s best talents’.
🌳Liverpool will now have to look elsewhere to strengthen their defensive ranks.
𒉰There’s still a fair bit of time, but with no signings over the line, hopefully some will come through the door sooner rather than later.
