Fabrizio Romano confirms Tottenham will not be signing £50m player now

Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer strategy seems to be built around signing talented young players at the moment.

Indeed, Spurs have signed the likes of Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall in recent times, and it looks as though Tottenham are building for the future.

Spurs have been linked with another very talented teenager throughout this su🤪mmer transfer 🐻window.

Desire Doue is reportedly a Tottenham target, but, unfortunately for Spurs, it do﷽esn’t look as though this deal will get done.

, Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on Doue’s future, and ♓the journalist says that he now thinks Doue won’t join Tottenham, claiming that Bayern Munich and PSG are both more likely to sign the Frenchman.

Desire Doue to Tottenham unlikely

Romano share𓂃d what he knows about the Rennes attacker.

“I thin𒀰k he will not go to Spurs, it will be between PSG and Bayern. Bayern already presented 🉐a new bid €55m package, PSG’s bid is around €60m, exactly what Rennes want. I think it could be this week, but it’s not guaranteed yet,” Romano said.

Doue would be smart to join Tottenham

Doue won’t be joining Spurs this summer by the sounds of things, but the winger would be wise to prioritise a move to Tot💝tenham this summer.

Indeed, given how many talented young player💞s Spurs have, Doue would likely th💫rive in this group.

Of course, PSG and Bayern Munich are perennial super💛powers, but their incredible status may mean that Doue doesn’t get the gametime he particularly wants or nee🎀ds if he joins one of those elite clubs.

Meanwhile, Spurs have shown that they’re willing to give chanc🧔es to young players, and with such an exciting project being built at Tottenham, Doue’s best bet may have been to go and join Ange Postecoglou in north London.

Doue may well live to regret not jo𒉰ining Tottenham in this summer transfer window.
