‘Exceptional’… Joleon Lescott blown away with £1m Celtic player in win vs Feyenoord tonight
It looked like another night of so close but, yet again, so far for Celtic in the Champions League tonight.
Once again Brendan Rodgers‘ side’s inability to keep the backdoor shut in the closing stages of a Eu🧔ropean game looked like it was going to come ღback and bite them on the backside.
1-0 up and looking comfortable, Celtic allowed the Dutch side to get back into the game as Hyeongyu Oh was bullied off the ball in midfield and Alistair Johnston was dragged out of position which allowed Yankuba Minteh to slot home an 82nd-minute equaliser to leave Joe Hart helpless.
Which is a shame because if anyone deserved to be on the winning side, it was the £1m signing from Tottenham Hotspur. And he was after Gustaf Lage🎶rbielke nodded home the point-blank wiꩵnner in the 90th minute.
Hart pulled oဣff some crucial saves to𝐆 keep Celtic ahead last night and he seriously impressed former England international defender, Joleon Lescott.
Joe Hart redeems himself for Celtic vs Feyenoord
The English stopper has come under some severe criticism over the past few weekꦬs but he certainly redeemed himself with his pe🍸rformance tonight.
Lescott🌜 said [], “Arguably this would have been one of the best goals of the competition so far but just offside. Probably should do better with the offside﷽ in terms of looking across the line and anticipating where the centre-backs are.

📖“He [Luis Giminez] can’t make his run off the fullback because he’s behind him but a constant threat running behind and he’s someone that’s has been comfortable in front of goal but Joe Hart’s been exceptional.”
Despite conceding, Hart made three important saves at crucial stages of the gameꩵ which could have seen the result go another way.
Hart was brilliant and d𒉰eserves all the plaudits coming his way ൲for this performance.
