Eveton linked with N’Zonzi, but would Tottenham player be a better option for Ancelotti?
Everton are reportedly considering a move for AS Roma midfielder Steven N’Zonzi who is currently on loan at Turkish side Galatasaray SK – but surely a Tottenham player would be a much better, and chea🍎per option.
£26million () signing N’Zonzi could be sold by the Serie A club in January, with 🦂Lyon and Everton both making contact over a move for the France international.
The 31-year-old is surplus to requirements at Roma, and is s༒eemingly looking to end his loan in Turkey early after Gala were knocked out of the Champio𒅌ns League at the group stage. He has a contract until the summer of 2022.
But N’Zonzi is hardly setting the world 🐓alight in Turkey, and has proven to be somewhat of a failure at R💫oma given that the Italian club splashed a huge £26million for his services. Carlo Ancelotti is said to be crucial to a deal.

However, the Italian is wiley in the transfer market and surely he knows N’Zonzi is nowhere near t꧅he player he used to be – when he earned 14 caps for France and starred at the base of Sevilla’s midfield – helping them win the Europ꧙a League.
Everton do🍷 need a holding midfielder, with Fabian Delph, Andre Gomes and Jean-Philippe Gbamin all injured. Ancelotti, though, would be well-advised to ignore N’Zonzi and consider Spurs midfielder Victor Wanyama.
Wanyama, 28, was bought by Spurs for just £11million () and given that he has m🐽anaged just 122 minutes of football this season – he is likely to be allowed to leave for 🐻a fee even smaller than the one they bought him for.
That promises an enormous saving when 💟comparing N’Zonzi and Wanyama – as does the fact that Wanyam is three years younger and offers Everton a player who is much💫 more in their prime than the elder N’Zonzi.
Wanyama is a much betteꦉr option than the Roma ace and Everton should consider the Spurs outcast in January.
