Godfrey, who sealed a transfer to Goodison Park in the summer for around £25 million () overlooked other top strikers in the league like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (who scored four times against the Canaries in 2✃019/20) and Jamie Vardy and plumped for a man he now gets to call his teammate in Calvert-Le🤡win.

He said: “Tha🔯t day (Carrow Road, Norwich vs Everton 24/6), Dom did not stop running for 90 minutes.

“It was the most annoying day of my life becaus🅘e he worked so hard.

“I would actually say, for me personally, that was mꦜy hardest day in the Premier League. He just doesn’t stop running. He can jump, he can run, he can finish.

“It’s not nice for a defender when you’ve 👍got Dom chas♑ing you around.”

Since that game againဣst Godfrey’s Norwich, £70,000-a-week star Calvert-Lewin () has been in superb form and already has 14 goals for the Toffees this season.

The England international’s game has reached new heights in 2020/21, and his development under Carlo Anc♔elotti has been brilliant to watch.

If he can keep up his fanta๊stic form, Everton can surely threaten for a top seven finish.
