Everton should build their team around £30 million target Djene Dakonam

Everton are believed to be pursuing a £30 million move for Getafe defender Djene Dakonam, according to Spanish outlet , which co✃uld give them the kind of base they need to build around.

The centre-back has been one of theꦐ club’s star players ever since joining in 2017, leading the team to promotion from Segunda Division, then taking the club close to Europe last season with the side currently in the top fou🌠r in La Liga.

Djene wou♔ld bring the kind of consistency and composure on the ball that Marco Silva is clearly looking for, to improve on a backline which❀ has been strewn with errors at times this season.

In the 27-year-old, Silv🦹a would know that he would get the physicality of Yerry Mina but with a much more rounded profile given his impressive form 🌺in Spain.

The likes of Leicester City and Arsenal have be𒀰en linked, by and r🌜espectively, so competition may be tough even though the Togo international has a release clause set at £30 million.

If Silva is to remain in charge long-term at Goodison Park, Dje🐷ne is the kind of talent that he should look to build a team around to strengthen and climb up the table.
