Everton must now be kicking themselves as Manchester United plot £40m move for star Toffees sold for just £2m
Everton have lost some fantastic footballers over the years – with several swapping Merseyside for Manchester United.
The Toffees ha💛ve previously watched the likes of Wayne Rooney, Romelu Lukaku and Marouane Fellaini leave Goodison Park for Old Trafford, although Everton were at least compensated well for these departure🐠s.
- Wayne Rooney – £25.6m
- Romelu Lukaku – £75m
- Marouane Fellaini – £27.5m
However, there is a player Everton sold for peanuts back in 2019 who could soon secure a £40m switch to Old Trafford, as Manchester United show interest.
Manchester United eye £40m move for Everton outcast Antonee Robinson
A story from now claims that Manchester United are keen to sign Antonee Robinson from Fulham – with the Cottagers demanding £40m.
It is believed that the Red Devils are planning to speed up their pursuit of the United States international as Luke Shaw continues to struggle with injuries, and also to fend off competition from Premier League rivals.
Liverpool are also keen to sign Robinson – to give an example of the calibre of competition Manಞchester🤡 United face.

Whatever happens with the left-b🌄ack’s future, Everton will surely be kicking themselves at seeing how well the Fulham No.33 has developed since leaving Goodison Park in 2019.
Worse still, the Toffees sold Robinson for peanuts, as Wigan Athletic secured a bargain deal back in Jul🍸y 2019.
At the time, Everton fans were furious to see Robinson depart, and they have since been justified.
Everton quickly realised Robinson mistake
Interestingly, Everton actually tried to bring Robinson – who is quicker than Kylian Mbappe – back before his move to Fulham in August 2020.
A story from claimed at the time that Marcel Brands told the 27-year-old that he wanted h𒉰im to return to Goodison Park.

However, Robinson – w﷽ho was never given a senior debut for Evert🤪on despite 27 appearances for the U21 side – ignored the offer, and opted to join Fulham.
N🍌ow, the man from Mꩵilton Keynes could move to an elite club, justifying his decision to reject a return to Everton.
