Everton have received formal offer ‘absolutely outstanding’ player Carlo Ancelotti signed

Everton’s need to sell players this month to meet the PSR deadline could well be eased after they have now seen an offer land at their door.

Sean Dyche‘s side are o꧑ne of the Premier League clubs who are coming under financial scrutiny once again this summer.

The Toffees were handed points deductions last season and face another breach if they are unable to balance their b𝓰ooks this month.

Player sales is the method Everton will need to use if they🎃 are to get themselves back on track when it comes to the financial regulations.

An opport💫unity has now arisen for the Merseyside club with a number of European clubs showing a real interest in one of their playerꦚs.

Sky Sports reporter says Everton player has real interest from across Europe

Although player♏𝐆 sales are needed before the end of the month, Everton have been looking to bolster their side ahead of the new campaign with some recruits.

Tim Iroegbunam has made the move to Goodison Park fr𝓀om Aston Villa already this m💞onth but the Toffees are eyeing more additions.

Ev🐽erton have also made their move for Newcastle United winger Yankuba Minteh but ♏a deal for ♍the youngster is proving difficult.

ওFinancial concerns could soon be eased with interest arriving in one of the players signed by former Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti.

According to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, Lyon have entered the frame for defender Ben Godfrey.

The French side have approached Everton with a £10m offer with the centre-back entering the fina💖l year of his deal at Goodison.

However, the Toffees will not be accepting the £10m offer with the club said to value Godfrey closer to the £15m mark.🗹

But there is some further good news for Everton with interest also coming from Serie A with Atalanta said to have also m꧂ade a bid believed to be worth €10m (£8.5m).

Rio Ferdinand previously hailed Ben Godfrey

The 26-year-old defender has now been at Everton for four yea💎rs after making the move from Norwich City for a fee in the reg🐷ion of .

In that time, Godfrey has only made 93 appearances for the Toffees with 24 of those ಞcoming under Dyche’s reign.

Having only made 13 starts in the league last ♑season, it would be fair to🏅 say Godfrey is a player who Everton could afford to lose ahead of the new campaign.

But this is not to🌊 say he hasn’t shown🍒 what he is capable of in the past in an Everton shirt with Rio Ferdinand waxing lyrical about one of his displays in the early stages of his time on Merseyside.

“You’ve got two centre-backs playing at full-backs. Ben Godfrey has been absolutely outstanding. The pace he has shown๊ in the last couple of games…were agai💜nst Timo Werner, Chelsea, the last game against Arsenal,” Ferdinand said on his back in 2020.
