Everton fans react on Twitter to Jean-Clair Todibo interest reports
A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to comment on which have suggested that the Toffees are one of the clubs interested in signing Barcelona youngster Jean-Clair Todibo.
Todibo has seemingly found life difficult since moving to the Nou Camp. He has only made a handful of appearances for the Catalan giants since joining at the start of the year.

And it appears that he could soon be on the move. Sport reports that Everton are interested in the Frenchman, while Manchester United and Southampton are also in the running for his signature.
Sport notes that Barcelona are open to selling the 19-year-old, but they do not want to cut all ties with Todibo. It is claimed that they want to agree a buy-back clause in his next move.

that Manchester United would not be happy to agree such a clause. It is not yet clear whether the Toffees would be more open to the prospect.
Toffees fans excited
It appears that their supporters would generally be happy to agree such a deal if it means he moves to Goodison Park in the near future.
Plenty of fans have taken to social media to express their excitement about the links. They believe that Todibo would be an inspired signing for an Everton side who do lack defensive options.
If Carlo Ancelotti is looking to make a particularly popular statement with his first signing, the reaction to the reports on Todibo would suggest that he would be a fantastic option for the new Toffees boss.
Here is what some of the fans make of the reports…
He’s an exceptional talent no question.

take him, good on the ball and can shift aswel.

He is massively over priced at €20m, he is a prospect at best, he has only played about 15 senior games so far, he has pace but is raw, we don’t need a young CB, we now need the finished article if we are ever to kick on!

Top young talent this would be brilliant business if we can get it done
— Dave (@DM_HIGGS)
Move on. I don’t want any player with a buy back. If he does well he goes back, if he doesn’t we offload for half the cost. Bad business

The lad would be class… I’d have him.
