Everton fans praise defender Ben Godfrey for performance in Aston Villa draw

Everton had to settle for a point on the road in Wednesday evening’s tr♏ip to Aston Villa – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter gave credit to their defender Ben Godfrey for his individual performance.

The Toffees recorded a 0-0 draw away to Villa in midweek, albeitဣ they may have felt they could’ve stolen the win late on with some goalscoring chance they wasted.

Carlo An🅰celotti’s side are eighth in the Premier Leag𝔉ue table as a result only behind Tottenham on goal difference. However, it felt like a disappointing result in the Midlands.

The Merseyside club are still firmly in the race to finish in the European positions this season, but it may go down to the wire and they have three games remainingꦆ to try accumulate as many points as poss♊ible.
