Everton: Decision day for Deulofeu; Moyes ready to move for Jagielka; striker deal on hold
AC Milan have turned around and said that today is a ‘decisive day’♏ in their efforts to sign Everton’s Gerard Deulofeu, this morning.
The Spanish winger has been subject of interest from the Serie A side for a few weeks now, but AC Milan’s CEO Adriano Galliani has come out to try and force a move. He 🤡said:
“We are talking for Deulofeu, but there is no agreement yet. Everton know full well we can only do loans or with option to buy. Plus there are these pro-Barcelona clauses.
Tomorrow we will discuss it and try to find a solution, otherwise we’ll remain with the squad as we are”
Premier League side M💯iddlesbrough have also shown interest in the Spanish Under-21 forward of late, but it’s believed that a move to the Italian giants would be Deulofeu’s preferred destination.
Another person potentially on their way out of Goodison Park is Phil Jagielka📖, David Moyes is keen for a reunion with the 34-year-old at his new side Sunderland.
Moyes, who signed Jagielka for £4 million back in 2007 during his time🐟 at Everton, has expressed his interest in bringing in the experienced defender in an attempt to consolidate a leaky Sundཧerland defence that has conceded the third-most goals in the Premier League this season.
Since Ronald Koema♔n’s formation change to 3-4-3, Jagielka has only played two of Everton’s last nine matches with young Mason Holgate preferred in a central role – and the promise of first-team football at the Stadium of Light could be enough to tempt the E♒ngland centre-back away from Merseyside.
West Ham and Hull City are also saཧid to be interested in Jagielka, who’s made 3🌳37 appearances for the Toffees.
Everton’s deal for Standard Liege striker Ishak Belfodil is, , on hold after the play🥃er’s management allegedlyও have called for the move to be abandoned.
The £10.4 million transfer is seemingly in jeopardy after another agent, Christophe Henrotay, became involved, despite Liege’s representative ♋meeting with and agreeing a deal with Everton’s Director of Football Steve Walsh last week.
