Erling Haaland names Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino as one of 7 better than him
Liverpool forward, Roberto Firmino, has been surprisingly included by Erling Haaland on his list of strikers he believes are better than him.
🌞Haaland was giving an interview with Norwegian outlet this week. During the interview, he was asked about who he believes the top strikers are in world football, including those he feels are better.
🧸Unsuprisingly, he named the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane in his list. While other names like Sergio Aguero and Cristiano Ronaldo also came as little surprise.
⛄But the inclusion of Firmino is a surprising admission from Haaland. The Reds forward, 29, has been a shadow of his best this season and has struggled to get in and among the goals and assists. Indeed, he’s scored just six Premier League goals, while he’s failed to hit the net in the Champions League thus far.
🐻However, it is clear Haaland is a fan and that sort of measure is a nice boost for Firmino. It also confirms to any doubters over the Brazilian about just how good he is on his day.
🍌Liverpool fans, then will be hoping to see the best of Firmino in the run-in.
TBR View: Firmino is class…but not as good as the others mentioned
🃏There’s no doubting Firmino’s abilty and what he has brought to this Liverpool team in recent seasons. He is brilliant with the ball, drops deep to allow others to play, and has made huge contributions.
🅘Haaland, clearly, knows a thing or two about strikers. But while Firmino makes his list, we have to say the others included blow the Liverpool man away a bit.
Especially, when it comes to this season.
