Emile Smith Rowe wanted to stay at Arsenal

Emile Smith Rowe had to leave Arsenal for the good of his career, but in an ideal world, he’d have stayed with the Gunners forever.

Make no mistake about it, Smith Rowe absolutely loves Arsenal.

The midfielder stated a few years ago that he’d love to spend his entire career in north London.

“As an Arsenal fan, it would be a dream to become an Arsenal legend. I want to win trophies with the team,” Smith Rowe said.

“I could see myself being a one-club man if everything works out.”

Unfortunately, due to fitness issues and Arsenal’s drastic improvement in recent years, things didn’t quite work out for Smith Rowe at the Emirates, but now, at Fulham, he has the chance to write an exciting new chapter in his career.

Fingers crossed Smith Rowe can get back on track in west London.
