A player Celtic sold only last year could reportedly be set to leave his new club already after a good season.
The Hoops enjoyed one of their most profitable windows in some time in 2023 as Celtic saw a number of big-name players leave for huge fees, most notably Jota, who departed Glasgow for Saudi Arabia for a rumoured £25m.
With Brendan Rodgers using the funds to once again lead Celtic to the Scottish Premiership, the Parkhead side benefited greatly from the huge summer of selling, with the Hoops looking well-stocked to go again for the title next season.
Yet one player who left Celtic last year could already be set to leave his new club.

Carl Starfelt could leave Celta Vigo one year after Celtic exit
According to Fabrizio Romano, defender Carl Starfelt could leave La Liga side Celta Vigo just one year after moving to Galacia from Celtic, with the Swedish international attracting interest from several teams.
Romano posted: “Carl Starfelt could leave Celta Vigo in the summer transfer window as several clubs have inquired about his situation. After good season in La Liga, Starfelt could be on his way out of the club.”
Praised as by Celta teammate Unai Nunez, Starfelt enjoyed quite the debut year in Spain, with the 29-year-old centre-back making 31 appearances in all competitions and scoring once, starting against the likes of FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Indeed, Starfelt’s first year in Spain has clearly left an impression on those around him, and now, the former Celtic defender could be set for a move to a bigger club after a strong season with Celta.

Celtic and Rodgers could now be regretting 2023 sale
Celtic are no strangers to selling players a year or two early, with the appeal of playing in a top-five league something that is too enticing for the likes of Starfelt when the opportunity arises.
Yet the Hoops and Rodgers will feel like they could have held on to the Swedish international for another season, with Starfelt impressing greatly in La Liga with a big move now potentially on the cards for the 29-year-old.
Whilst Celtic could be in for a small payday, there’s no denying that the Glasgow giants should have held strong in keeping Starfelt for another year, who last season could have played a key role in keeping the defence tight for Rodgers and the Bhoys.
