Eden Hazard says Liverpool have a player who’s even better than Barcelona’s Frenkie De Jong
Eden Hazard has been full of praise for one Liverpool player.
Speakin🌱g to ahead of Euro 2024, Hazard has been asked to name the best player from a number of top countri꧙es.
As you can imagine, the likes of Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne got mentions, as to did Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk.
Indeed, while the Netherlands have a number of fantastic players such as Frenkie De Jong, Cody Gakpo and Jeremie Frimpong🐼, Hazard stated that he thinks Van Dijk is the best player the Dutch side have right now.

Hazard spoke about the Netherlands, naming the Liverpool skipper as their best player.
“Who is the best player from the Netherlands?” Hazard was asked.
“Van Dijk,” Hazard said.
The Netherlands’ defence is incredible
The Netherlands may j♎ust be dark horses for Euro 2024 due to how strong their defence is.
The Dutch side will likely play a back fiv🧜e with Van Dijk at the heart of the defence flanked by Micky van de Ven and Matthijs De Ligt, while Jeremie Frimpong ♛and Ian Maatsen will be incredible options at wing-back.
Factor in the potential impact of De Jong in the midfield and Gakpo in the attack and you have quite a well-rounded team that will be very 💯diffi💯cult to beat.
England and France are the two teams that everybody is talking about heading into this tournament, but don’t discount the Dutch just yet. A💛fter all, they gave Argentina a serious scare at the last World Cup and their defence is as solid as a rock.
Whether or not the Netherland𒉰s can win this tournament remains to be seen, but any side with Virgil van Dijk in their defence has a fighting chance in any competition.
