Eddie Nketiah reacts with one word after seeing Myles Lewis-Skelly’s performance for Arsenal against PSV

Unfortunately for Myles Lewis-Skelly, the Arsenal youngster was only able to partake in 35 minutes of their 7-1 win over PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.

Arsenal were in rampant mood away from home in the Netherlands, and Mikel Arteta watched his side pick apart a more than questionable defenc♎e.

Peter Bosz’s side have struggled at the back this season – a 🍬🥂side better known for their attacking output, but Arsenal still beat PSV in unprecedented fashion.

Of course, the game could have gone very differently early on had Ismael Saibari taken his golden chance in front of Arsenal’s goal, or had Lewis-Skelly received a second yellow for an ill-timed foul.

Having just been booked in the 24th minute of th🃏e game, Lewis-Skelly was close to receiving his third red card of the season, even if his dismissal against Wolverhampton Wanderers was rܫescinded.

And it then appeared a very clever bit of management by Arteta to replace t꧒he 18-year-old with Riccardo Calafiori, protecting him from any further issues.

Fortunately, Martin Odegaard said Lewis-Skelly ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚwas in g🗹ood spirits afteꦕr the game – the youngster appeared to fully understa🀅nd his manager’s decision.

In fact, when he was subbed off in the first half, aꩲ decision some players would find difficult to accept, Lewis-Skelly made a poin🦂t of staying professional and shook the hand of every staff member on Arsenal’s bench, as well as the substitutes watching on.

And the youngster’s attitude, alongside Ethan Nwaneri, is one of the many reasons why so man🍌y onlookers are amazed by the young Hale End duo.

That being said, former Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah actually made his way to Lewis-Skelly’s Insta🦹gram post after the game to shareꦑ a one-word message.

Having assisted Nwaneri early on in the game, Lewis-Skelly uploaded a photo alongsiꦯde his Hale End partner, with Nketiah commenting ‘Truth’ in the replies.

Nketiah, who was always such a popular figure in N5 himse👍lf, is clearly still keeping a very close eye on all things Arsenal.

And the striker’s comment seemed𒊎 to be directe👍d at the duo, and perhaps not just at Lewis-Skelly’s individual performance.

A superb🎀 showing for the Gunners away from home, and Arsenal will ne♚ed their young duo once again when they face Manchester United on Sunday.
