Don Hutchison picks the manager he would like to replace Carlo Ancelotti at Everton, after surprise exit

Don Hutchison has picked Nuno Espirito Santo as the manager he wants at Everton to replace Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian made the surprise, and abrupt decision to leave Everton after 18 months in charge. Hutch🅷ison wants Santo to replace him.

Ancelotti, 61, returns to Real Madrid six seasons after leaving following a two-year spell between 2013 and 2015. He str✤uggled at Everton despite a brilliant start to the 2020-21 campaign. Ultimately,ꦗ home form has prevented Everton from qualifying for European football.

Failing to qualify for Europe might have just tempted Ancelotti to replace Zinedine Zid🍃ane. Zidane left after Madrid failed to topple Atletico Madrid. The search for Ancelotti’s replacement starts now. Plenty have been linked including out-of-work trio Eddie Howe, Frank Lampard and Rafa Benitez.

Now, another out-of-work manager should be under consideration, according to ex-Everton mid🦋fielder Hutchison. He wants the Merseyside club to go after Santo, who has left Wolves after a similarly d🤡ifficult season. The Midlands side struggled to cope with the loss of Raul Jimenez.

Nuno makes utter sense as Everton replacement, amid Hutchison claim

It just looks 🔴as though he is the manager that would be perfect for the role. Howe and Lam🥀pard remain unproven -but Santo has done it with Wolves, Valencia and Porto. He is experienced, clever in the transfer market, and tactically adept.

Without having to pay compensation, it makes sense that Santo is at the top of the list. Can they pull it off? Well, it depends if Santo has any other offers on the horizon. Everton have a chance of hiring Santo.
