Don Hutchison claims Arsenal have a player who’s just like Liverpool’s Diogo Jota

Speaking on , Don Hutchison has been discussing Jota’s influence in this Arsenal side, and he says that Trossard reminds him a lot of Diogo Jota in the way he plays.

Hutchison shared his verdict on the Belgian.

♍“You’re right. He’s the type of player Mikel Arteta will lean too off the bench, because his numbers are impressive off the bench. I think he reminds me of Diogo Jota the way he plays,” Hutchison said.

😼“There are a lot of attributes you can have in terms of skills, technique or character, but the word Tim uses is ‘effect’ and he can effect games. He’s a very good finisher, he’s very calm. He had a point to prove and he scores big goals. What a weapon to have if you’re Mikel Arteta.”

ꦇThere may not be two players in the Premier League who are more similar than Trossard and Jota.

🔴Both men are capable of playing on the left and through the middle, they’re both diminutive forwards who are lethal finishers, and they’re both very two-footed.

𒀰Jota and Trossard are both becoming ever-increasingly more important to both Liverpool and Arsenal respectively, and it wouldn’t be a surprise at all if either man helps guide their team to a Premier League title this season.
