Dirk Kuyt now names £23m man as the best player he ever played with at Liverpool
Former Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt has n🍎ow named Luis Suarez as the best player he ever played with whilst at the club.
Kuyt was speaking on ‘’ and decided that Suarez slightly tipped Fernando Torres to the crown.
The form♔er Dutch international mentioned that Suarez was a ‘warri💛or’ on the pitch, but a different character off of it.
: “But afterwards [after Fernando Torres] 💯Luis Suarez came, for me he was t🦩he best striker I ever played with, what an unbelievable player.
“There’s such a difference between Luis on the pitch and off the pi𝔍tch. On the pitch he is a warrior, not only🔥 in the games but also in training.
“But off the pitch he is just such a great gꦇuy, very easy going, family man.”
Of course, it is now a different Uruguayan Liverpool striker that is making the headlines these day😼s.
Darwin Nunez has enjoyed some excellent displays this season, but famouslyꦓ failed to find the net against Luton Town.
Suarez has actually been incredibly complimentary of Nunez of late, but may now find it hard to defend some of his mi♍sses.
Kuyt thought Suarez was slightly ahead of Torres at Liverpool
As well as complimenting Suarez at Liverpool, Dirk Kuyt did also name Javier Ma♑scherano as the most 𝓰underrated teammate he played alongside.
And the Dutchman may think that Liverpool could also d൲o with a midfielder of Masc൩herano’s skill-set right now.
Alexis Mac Allister is doing a fine job sitting in a deeper role, but Liverpool’s midfie꧅ld may look light ahead of some big tests to come.
Nonetheless, there still will be some Liverpool fans that are hoping that Darwin Nunez can some day reach the loft🐓y Suarez levels that Kuyt is describing.
And it’ll certainly be inter😼esting to see if Nunez starts in Jurgen Klop💖p’s next few XIs.
The competition is now fierce in Liverpo𝄹ol’s f♐ront line.
And although Nunez is showing a ton of promise, he will need to start pr💙oducing on a regular basis.
