Dietmar Hamann is convinced over what Xabi Alonso will do if Liverpool try to sign him

Former Liverpool and German🎶y international defensive midfielder Dietmar Hamann believes that if Liverpool offered Alonso the managerial role at the end of the season, then he would take it.
Hamann said about Alonso to Liverpool speculation on podcast: “Well, the story coming out of Leverkusen, he extended his𝔍 contract earlier in the season but I’m sure they’ve got an agreement so that if he wants to leave in the summer, he can go.
“As a football romantic, I would love to see him do a🎃nother season at Le꧑verkusen.
“But the problem might be, can they keep the team together because they’ve got some outstanding playe💦rs, I think one or two will leave which obviously will harm their chances next season.
“I think if Liverpool come calling, I think it’s very hard to turn down, even though he follows in Klopp’s footsteps. But the thing is, sometimes the big cl﷽ubs, they only come once.
“If somebody comes in in the summer and does 🐓we🍌ll, the job might not be on offer for five or six years, or maybe nine years if they find another Klopp. So, I think if Liverpool come calling, I think he’ll take it.”
My View: Xabi Alonso should take Liverpool job
In my view, if L꧒iverpool came for Xabi Alonso, then the former Real Madrid midfielder should take t🥃he managerial role.
Alonso played for Liverpool and will know how big and historic t♔he club is.
Yes, he is just starting his manag🌱erial career🦩, but the chance to manage a historic club such as Liverpool does not come often.
Moreover, Liverpool have a very good and strong squad. Alisson, Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold all are supe🐈rb players, so Alonso would not need to ‘rebuild’ the team.
