‘Diabolical’: TalkSPORT pundit left stunned after what £34m Liverpool player did vs Luton yesterday
TalkSPORT pundit Andy Townsend was left stunned after what Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah did against Luton Town yesterday.
Liverpool were held to a disa𝓰ppointing 1-1 draw at Kenilworth Road on Sunday as they🅺 failed to take their opportunities.
Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez🍃 both went close in the first half, with the latter even rattling the woodwork with one effort.
But the best chance of the game for Liverpool ♛came in the second half after a brilliant ball into the box from Trent Alexander💯-Arnold.
Mohamed Salah got on the end of it but completely mistimed his header w🅘hich handed Nunez a glorious opportunity.

Yet, thꦡe Uruguayan 🎃fired over after being presented with an open goal.
And despite Nunez’s glaring miss, Andy Townsend feels Salah’s initial 🅠effort was also ‘diabolical’.
Townsend stunned by Salah’s header against Luton
Speaking on talkSPORT, Townsend admitted that he’s a huge fan of Nunez but was unimpressed with 💫Liverpool’s fini🦂shing at Luton yesterday.
The pundit slammed Sa𓂃lah for 🐎his initial effort before claiming Nunez’s miss was a ‘howler’.
“I mean Mo Salah’s header🐬, he’s got a Toblerone on the top of his head,” Townsend said. “I mean the way he’s headed that, it’s a diabolical header.
“He’s dropped it on a plate for Nunez and he’s got to just tuck that one into the back of the neꦦt and he misses it and it’s a howler.”

Salah didn’t enjoy his best game yesterday as he ⛦struggled to make the most of a few openings.
The man has been in clinical form for the Reds once again this season but it just was🔯n’t his day ♕on Sunday.
Liverpool were eventually made to pay for their missed opportunities as Tahith Chong finish𝔍ed off an exceptional counter-attack in the 80th minute.
Fortunately for Liverpool, Luis Diaz came off the bench to rescue a point with a well-taken goal in stoppa🥂ge time.
Klopp💜 will undoubtedly be disappointed to drop points y🤡esterday as his side created more than enough opportunities to pick up a win.
