David Raya warns his Arsenal teammates what he’s noticed about Paris Saint-Germain ahead of Champions League semi-final
David Raya has warned his Arsenal teammates that he’s noticed something changed about Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the Champions League semi-final clash.
The Gunners will face the Parisiens in their first Champions League semi-final in 16 years following their emphatic 5-1 aggregate win over Real Madrid.
Mikel Arteta’s side ended up comfortably dispatching the defending European champions and even defeated them 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu, thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.
Now, Arsenal’s goalkeeper has reacted to playing PSG in the final four of the competition and he has fired a warning to his teammates.

David Raya on Paris Saint-Germain’s improvements since losing to Arsenal
David Raya believes that Paris Saint-Germain are a different team from the side that lost 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium earlier this season.
Goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka saw the Gunners beat the French giants back in October during the group stage phase.
But since then, Luis Enrique’s team have become one of the most feared teams in the competition and this tie feels almost good enough to be the final.
Speaking after the win in Madrid, Raya told the media: “We beat them at home but I think PSG now are a different team. They look even better than what they looked back in the group stage and that’s credit to them. They haven’t had easy games either.
“I’m looking forward to it, but for now let’s focus on the present, focus on this weekend when we go to Ipswich and then we’ll see when it comes to PSG what happens.”
What Mikel Arteta said about facing PSG in the Champions League semi-final
Arteta believes that PSG are the most in-form team in Europe right now and he was impressed by their performance away at Aston Villa.
After qualifying for the semi-finals, Arteta gave his reaction to the prospect of facing PSG: “Unbelievable! They are probably the most in-form team in Europe, the way they are playing, watching them yesterday.
“We already faced them once in the competition, so we already experienced that – it’s going to be tough for both teams, I think.”
