David Prutton predicts Leeds to suffer defeat to Millwall

David Prutton has predicted that Leeds United will once again lose to Millwall on Tuesday night when they host them at Elland Roꦐad in the Championship.

Marcelo Bielsa’s team were beaten in🉐 the reverse fixture back in October, as Gaetano Berardi received an early red card and they ended up losing by a 2-1 scoreline.

The Whites go into the midweek fix🧸ture off the back of just one poiꦆnt from their last three league games and it means they are now looking over their shoulder in the Championship table.

The Yorkshire giants sit second in the division, but Fulham are just three points behind them and there is a chasing pack hunting them down🐟.

Sky Sports pundit Prutton belieཧves that Leeds ar𒈔e in for more frustration when they face Millwall and has tipped them to lose 1-0.

“Leeds coasted through November and the start of December, with seven strღaight wins putting intense pressure on the Baggies (West Brom), but had the wind taken out of their sails when they were held 🐽to a 3-3 draw by Cardiff and are on the verge of being usurped by the chasing pack,”

“They 🌳welcome a Millwall side 🏅who will be full of confidence, not only due to their impressive start under Gary Rowett, but also safe in the knowledge they won the return fixture 2-1 at the start of October. I have a feeling there may be a similar outcome at Elland Road.”

TBR’s View:

Leeds need tဣo quickly get out of this current rut and back-to-back fixtures at Elland Road against Millwall then Wigan this week is the perfect opportunity to d🐼o so.

They have all the qualities within the group to kick on and consolidജate their automatic promotion spot, but have given teams behind them hope of catching them.

Patrick Bamford has t🌃o do starting improving his finishing and the arrival of new signing Jean-Kevin Augustin should be the perfect motivation to help🐷 that.
