David Ornstein says there’s now another Newcastle player Arsenal ‘really like’ as well as Alexander Isak
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Alexander Isak in recent weeks.
The Gunners are keen on the Swedish striker amid reports Newcastle United may need to sell a star pla🐠yer to balance the books this summer.
However, Isak isn’t the only star player Newcastle could sell, and he’s also not the only Newcastle player that Arsenal are keen on.
Indeed, according to David Ornstein, speaking on , Arsenal are k🐭een on another player from St James’ Park.
Arsenal interested in another Newcastle player
Ornstein spoke about the Gunners’ summer transfer plans and named Bruno Guimaraes as someone Arsenal like.
“Somebody who I think of off the top of my head that Arsenal and other clubs really like is Bruno Guimaraes. He can play as an eight or as a six. Newcastle hope to keep hold of him, there is a release clause though and anyone who is going to take him he has to deliver straight away,” Ornstein ꦜsaid.

If Arsenal do sign Guඣimaraes they may well have on꧃e of the best midfield pairings in the world.
Indeed, could you imagine what a midfield pairing of Brun💟o Guimaraes and Declan Rice would look like?
It would be the perfect blend of power, speed, skill and intel✅ligence and it would work perfectly in Mikel Arteta’s team.
Of course, getting Guimaraes out of Newcastle won’t be a simple task, but if there’s any way Arsenal can get this deal done, they need to explore those avenues as Guimaraes is exactly the type of midfield player the north London club a꧟re crying out for at the moment.
