David Ornstein says there are only two young players that people at Arsenal are now excited about

Arsenal’s academy has worked wonders in recent years.

The likes of Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson and Emile Smith Rowe have been real success stories from Hale 🌃End ove𝕴r the past few seasos, but the well seems to have dried up slightly.

Indeed, there aren’t many young stars at Arsenal who have broke into the first-team since Saka and 🌜Smith Rowe, and according to David Ornstein, there isn’t that much talent in the academy right now, claiming that there are only two young players that people at Arsenal are excited about at the moment.

Arsenal are only excited about two young stars

Speaking on , Ornstein has been 𒀰discussiཧng the state of Arsenal’s academy and how they feel about their next crop of young stars.

“They really need to work on their young players coming through. From the academy, when you talk to people around the club it’s really just Ethan and Myles. Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly. Ethan Nwaneri has had a bit of gametime, but Lewis-Skelly hasn’t really. There seems to be a bit of a vacuum and that may be cyclical, but when you look at Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea and even Tottenham, th🌠ey’re flushed with these players, but Arsenal a🍌ren’t really,” Ornstein said.

Arsenal’s academy is still exciting

Arsenal may not be about to uncover the next Class of 92 or some sort of golden generation, but there’s st꧙ill something to be excited aboﷺut here.

As more and more m🎀oney comes into the game, academy production becomes less and less impo🎀rtant in the Premier League, and even if you only have two players in any generation actually make it, that’s still good going, especially at a top club.

Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri are certainly two players to be excited 🍸about, that’s for sure.
