David Moyes lauds Lukasz Fabianski despite West Ham loss
David Moyes has suggested that Lukasz Fabianski was very good for West Ham on Sunday, as he lauded the goalkeeper’s recent form – .
The trip to Old Trafford proved to be a frustrating one for the Irons. They were beaten 1-0 by Manchester United after a Craig Dawson own goal.

And the game played out in a similar fashion to the recent FA Cup tie between the two when the Hammers were set up in a way that left them struggling to get up the pitch for the large majority of the contest.
That meant that Fabianski was left with plenty to do. And while he was beaten by his own teammate, he produced a superb performance to give the visitors a chance of fighting back.

And following the game, Moyes suggested that he can be happy with his display in the loss.
“Lukasz in recent weeks has been in really good form and that’s good because he has come back into it at an important time,” he said, . “He made a couple of saves tonight, he kept us in the games at different times so his form has been very good.”
It is remarkable to see how well Fabianski continues to perform. Of course, goalkeepers can tend to play at the highest level for a lot longer. But the 35-year-old has rarely been better.
And if West Ham are going to go on and secure a spot in Europe next year, there will surely be no doubt that Fabianski will have more than played his part.
