Darwin Nunez and Virgil van Dijk left blown away by £50m Liverpool player in 3-0 win over Bournemouth

Arne Slot certainly got Liverpool’s league campaign back on track against Bournemouth on Saturday, eventually dispatching the visitors with some authority.

Slot’s big selection call was to give Darwin Nunez an opportunity in place of Diogo Jota, a decision the Liverpool manager got spot on. 

Jota’s effectiveness has been waning in recent games and Nunez was clearly ready to prove a point – a striker frustrated not to🌸 be𒁃 playing more.

But the 🐬Uruguayan certainly channelled that disappointment positively against Bournemouth, scoring a delightful left-footed effort that beat Kepa Arrizabalag🐼a.

Of course, Kepa was also beaten twice by Luis Diaz, who continue🔯d his excellent start tꦓo the new campaign.

Diaz has now scored fiv💦e goals in five Premier League appearancꦓes this term, a remarkable record considering he netted just eight league goals in the entirety of last season.

Before the new campaign began, Diaz was linked with a move to Barcelona, rumours that refused to subside during t🎃he Copa America. 

Fortunately, 🔯Diaz has returned in brilliant mood and form for Liverpool – his head has certainly not been turned.

After scoring two for Liverpool on Saturday, Diaz – who🍰 cost the club in 2022 – took to to celebrate an ‘outstanding’ win.

Diaz uploade꧑d a collection of photos from the fruitful afternoon, a performance ad🐼ored by both his Colombia and Liverpool teammates.

And as well as a reply from James Rodriguez, all of Virgil van Dijk, Dominik Szoboszlai, Nunez ♌and Curtin J🌞ones replied.

O♏f course, after such an electric start, Diaz will surely be hoping to eclipse his best league tally to date, the 14 goals he scored for FC Porto in the 2021/22 season before heading to Anfield.

Caoimhin Kelleher proved why he’s not happy at Liverpool

Among the good displays agains🐠t Bournemouth on Saturday, Caoimhin Kelleher also stood out, a goalkeeper who wants to play first team football.

Kelleher is determined to leave Liverpool ac🃏cording to reports, a player who understands that he’s not going to displace Alisson Becker any time soon.

Of course, Kelleh🔯er still took his 🐟chance in the 3-1 win regardless, producing some excellent saves.

Admittedly, one of the stops Kelleher made was resultant of his own le♒thargy on the ball – but the display still deserved applause nonetheless.

An excellent afternoon for Liverpool, who will be hoping to win all four of their remaining matches before the next international b🌠reak.
