Darren Bent says Manchester United have an ‘absolutely incredible’ talent
Manchester United return to Premier League action on Sunday with a trip to West Ham United.
It’s not been plain sailing for the Red Devils this season, though they do intoꦜ the game on the back of a 2-1 win in their last league game.
Manchester United were also in Europa League action against Fene🧜rbahce in midweek, though things𝓰 didn’t quite go to plan.
Erik ten Hag’s♑ charges took the lead in the 15th minute through Christian Eriksen, but Youssef En-nesyri equalised for the hosts early in the second half.
Now, ahead of Man United’s trip to East London, talkSPORT pundit Darren Bent spoke about a Red Devils player who has “stepped up” amid the inco♈nsistency.

Darren Bent says Andre Onana has stepped up for Manchester United
The player in question is goalkeeper Andre Onana, who has been impressive fo𝓀r 😼Man United in recent weeks.
Onana was one of the Red Devils’﷽ best players against Fenerbahce and did his part in securing a valuable point in Istanbul.
The highlight of his night was his incredible close-range double save from En-Nesyri in the first half, and he had little chance againstܫ his second-half goal.
Bent, speaking on tal꧃kSPORT (25/10/2024, 4:13pm), said Onana’s double save was “absolutely incredible” and that every keeper makes the odd mistake.
“He is somebody who has stepped up,” said Bent. “He is making upon save. Yes, he might make th🦂e odd mistake, but which goalkeeper doesn’t?”

What Rio Ferdinand recently said about Andre Onana
It’s good to see Onana stepping up and proving the doubters wrong after a long spell in which he appeared to be one of the scapegoats for Man United’s🅰 troubles.
Even after the Red Devils’ dismal 3-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur, the Cameroon internationa🐻l was one of the few players who emerged wꦍith some credit.
Rio Ferdinand said on his YouTube show after the gam🦩e: “Do you know how I’ve got to give 🌜a shout out to? He took a lot of stick last season – Onana.
“Without him, it’s siꦐx or seven today. Onana has been good this season, he’s ste🐓pped up, he’s made some big saves.
“Yes, there’s been the odd thing here and there, but he’s been what you’d want to see, what I expected to see from O𝓀nana is what I’m seeing this season.
“He’s the oღnly one today who comes out of the game with any sort of credit, 𓂃any sort of positivity. He can walk with his head high.”
Man United may not be flying high at present but, with things finally clicking for Ona🅰na at Old Trafford, there’s potential for🦄 the team to edge up the table and do well this term.
