‘No’: Conte says four Tottenham players won’t be featuring against Middlesbrough tomorrow
Tottenham are back in action in midweek as Antonio Conte looks to see his side build on their big win at Leeds with a win in the cup against Middlesbrough.
Spurs came roaring back to form at Elland Road with a clinical display of counter attacking football at Elland Road to win what could be a crucial three points for the club. After a miserable week of negative press and controversial comments from Conte, it was the result Tottenham needed.

However, with Chris Wilder’s Boro representing a stiff test, there won’t be much room for Conte to change the squad too much. The Italian coach has been speaking in his press conference this afternoon and has confirmed that a number of players are missing.
Speaking to , Conte confirmed that Japhet Tanganga, Oliver Skipp, Lucas Moura, and Rodrigo Bentancur will all still be missing for the Boro clash.
It means Conte is likely to selected a very similar XI to the one which saw off Leeds. Younger players are likely to be involved from the bench, however.
TBR’s View: Tottenham Need To Win Against Middlesbrough
Being realistic, winning the FA Cup might well be the best thing Conte could do. Sure, getting into the top four remains the big aim. But if Conte wants his players to feel what success is like, then winning a trophy would be huge.
Middlesbrough do represent a tough challenge though. Under Wilder, they are a different animal and they’ll also be keen to bounce back from their weekend loss to Barnsley.
Tottenham, though, should have enough, even with players out injured.
