Club have now signed two replacements for striker after he holds talks with Tottenham
Ange Postecoglou could soon be welcoming a new striker to Tottenham – as a Dutch club make two interesting acquisitions.
ꦦSpurs have already overseen some superb business this summer, snapping up Archie Gray in a £30m move from Leeds, while Lucas Bergvall also linked up with his teammates after an £8.5m deal was struck with Djurgarden in January.
𝕴Precocious South Korean talent Min-hyeok Yang has also been signed from Gangwon FC, but will join up with the squad in January.
Despite these promising moves, Tottenham are yet to find the talismanic No.9 Ange Postecoglou♉ desperately needs, although that could be about to change…
Feyenoord preparing to sell Santiago Gimenez amid Tottenham links
An update by Dutch journalist Martijn Krabbendam now states that Feyenoord are prepared to sell Santiago Gimenezꦯ, amid strong rumours that the Mexico international is wanted by Tottenham.
A story from even claimed that 💞Spurs recently held talks with Gimenez’s representatives about a move to north London.
💛Krabbendam Voetbal International: “I think he is playing his way to a transfer. Feyenoord has prepared for his departure with Ayase Ueda and now also brought in Julian Carranza. Three strikers is, in principle, too many. Feyenoord was already taking a departure into account and perhaps he (Gimenez) himself too. You can also see that in players, that they step on the gas and hope that a new club will come.”

🐼The Feyenoord No.29 is certainly playing like a man trying to catch the eye.
♔Gimenez picked up from where he left off in the 2023/24 campaign – which saw him net 23 goals in just 30 Eredivisie appearances – by scoring twice in Sunday’s Johan Cruyff Trophy win over PSV Eindhoven.
Spurs have two other options
꧅As we enter the final month of the transfer window, it seems Tottenham have narrowed down their striker search to three names.
Bournemouth No.9 🙈Dominic Solanke is one frontman who could end up in N17 next month as Tottenham consider making a bid.
Elsewhere, ಌBrentford No.17 Ivan Toney is another option for Spurs♔, with the Bees looking to sell the England international as he enters the final 12 months of his contract.

🐼If Spurs fail to sign at least one of these three strikers, we would be very surprised.
