Club director admits he’ll sell £25m Arsenal target if big club comes in for him
Arsenal have made a pretty slow start to their summer transfer window but it now appears as though they’re accelerating plans.
Mikel Merino looks set to follow Riccardo Calafiori to become the second addition to the window and now attention is expected to turn toward an attacker.
Federico Chiesa has been mooted, as has Nico Williams – though he’s set to stay at Athletic Bilbao this season.
An EFL wonderkid has also been linked and his director has now shared the club’s stance on a potential sale.

Watford will sell Yaser Asprilla if big club come in for him
Over the summer, Arsenal have been linked with a move for Watford playmaker Yaser Asprilla, who registered 14 goal contributions last term.
Speaking to , Watford director Gianluca Nani admitted that he’ll sell Asprilla if a big club comes in for him.
“When a player becomes such an important player, he’s a promotion, a certificate that we did a good job,” Nani said.
“Because so many clubs are enquiring about him. We would like to keep him, at the moment he’s our player, we’re happy to keep him.
“At the same time, if a top club make the player happy and the club happy, we can sit down and we can consider.
“But we don’t need to sell him, we will sell him just if a really top club (comes in for him) and if we believe it can be a really good step forward for the boy and the club.”
Asprilla is expected to cost suitors around £25m and the 20-year-old has strong interest from Premier League new boys Leicester City and Ligue 1 side Rennes.
