Chelsea pushing to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen

“We understand that with Romelu Lukaku gone, Chelsea’s main efforts are into bringing in a new numbওer nine, and whilst they are doing work on other options which also still include Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran amongst others – Osimhen remains their prime option,” sai💧d Bailey.

“A deal is not far away between Chelsea and Napol🎃i over a loan but it is the player 🌠who doesn’t want a loan unless it is an obligation – that is the main issue.

“Osimhen’s people have agreed a deal in principle with Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ahli,ಞ but he doesn’t🐟 want to go – to facilitate his move – the Pro League are willing to include a release clause but the size of it is an issue, they would not want it to be too small.

“Talks are ongoing and Chelsea are not giving up on Osimhen…yet. Osimhen wants C🍎helsea but it is just the make-up of the deal that is a problem. We are told he is willing to move without ♏a pay rise, and he would consider a small reduction too.”

Victor Osimhen statistics

Osimhen, who has been labelled ‘one of the best playe🔯rs in the world’ per , enjoyed a pretty productive goalscoring season last term despite🏅 suffering injury setbacks.

The 25-year-old netted 17 times in 27 starts for the Italian giants which followed a 31-goal haul the previous camꦬpaig🦄n.

If Chelsea were to land Osimhen’sꦐ signature, it’d be regard꧋ed as a real coup.
