‘Caused mayhem’… Peter Grant says 23-year-old Celtic player looked dangerous against Hibs
With Celtic preparing to face St Mirren in the Scottish Cup today, the Hoops fans will be hoping to see a better performance this afternoon than the one they saw against Hibs midweek.
Brendan Rodgers‘ side huffed and puffed once again in the Scottish Premiership and altho༒ugh they eventually got th𒉰e job done, the Celtic fans are still concerned at the lack of creativity in the team.
However, there was one player that Peter Grant thought looked dangerous against the Easter Road outfit and the former Celtic hero has urged him to carry that on ꧑for the rest of the season.
Grant said [], “I don’t think Kyogo’s out of form. He’s only out of form when he comes deep.
“And I’ve said that about [Luis] Palma. I thought 🌟he put more crosses in the box [against Hibs]. The first time he stepped inside and delivered it into the box and caused mayhem.
“Just do that be🥂cause tಌhat’s what you do when you’re at your best.
“He’s been taking too many touches, 🔴taking too many people on and then passing it square.
“Put it in the box, that’s your job.”
Palma has had a brilliant first half of the season at Celtic. Bought for £3.5m, the Honduran arrived in Glasgow as a relat🤡ive unknown.

However, opinions quickly changed on the 23-year-old when he started to shine in the Champions League where goals against Atletico Madrid and Feyenoord propelled him into the limelight.
His form has dipped of late and he was dropped to the bench for the midweek clash against Hibs. Hopefully, that has given Palma a shake and the Celtic fans will start to see the player who was tearing up the SPFL return to his best and help fire Rodgers’ side into the next round of the Scottish Cup.
