From Lee Erwin to Marcus Antonsson: Are these the five worst Leeds United signings since 2014?
Leeds United are looking to finally bounce back into the Premier League this season, currently sitting third in the Championship.
Boss Marcelo Bielsa has assembled a quality group of players and the squad boasts some real𝐆 quality.
It hasn’t always been that way, however, and over the ye𒁃ars Elland Road has been graced by𒁃 some truly shocking footballers.
Here at TBR Football, we looked at five players w𓂃ho co꧟uld be considered the worst Leeds signings since 2014.
Brian Montenegro

The Paraguayan striker came𒊎 with a glowing re▨putation having been signed by chairman at the time Massimo Cellino.
He featured in just five Championship fixtures for t🌠he White, accumulating a grand total of 21 minutes in English ♓football.
It’s fair to say t🦹hat he didn’t⛄ exactly shine in a Leeds shirt.
Nicky Ajose

Dave Hockaday signed the loweꩲr league stalwart and somehow presumed Ajose would be well-equipped to p🍷lay in the Championship.
The forward played fou꧋r games for the W🔴hites before going on loan to Crewe Alexandra.
Was sol🀅d to Swindon Town just one year after signing terms at Elland Road and now plays for Mansfield Tow🔯n.
Lee Erwin

🔥The target man was seeඣn as a big signing for the future when he signed for the Whites in 2015.
Uwe Rosler was the man responsible for signing t🉐he Motherwell starlet, but it was clear from the off ♛he wasn’t up to Championship football.
Erwin began this season at Kilmarnock but now operates in Iraღn playing for Tractor Sazi where he has netted four goals in six games.
Marcus Antonsson

The Swedish striker was Garr꧃y Monk’s first signing after taking oveꩵr from Steve Evans as manager.
Antonsson cost 💮Leeds an undisclosed fee thought to be ⛦in excess of £1 million.
The man signed from Kalmar managed just a single goal i💃n 16 appearances for Leeds, against Sheffield Wednesdayꦇ.
He was loaned out to Blackburn where h🦩e struggled again and now turns out for Malmo.
Edgar Cani

Another of Massimo Cellino’s infamous foreign imports, although lucki⛦💝ly for Leeds this one was only on loan.
The Albanian striker was nowhere near th🥂e required quality to become a threat in the Champioไnship.
He played just 49 minutes of football during the 2014/15 campaign and is currently turning out for a team i🧔ꦆn the third tier of Italian football.
