Cameron Brannagan loving life at Oxford United after Liverpool departure
Former Liverpool midfielder Cameron Brannagan has told the that he made the right decision to join Oxford United.
The 23-year-old left Anfield behind in January 2018, choosing to pen permanent termsꦬ♉ with the U’s.
Having come through the youth ranks at Liverpool it will have undoubtedly been a tough decision for the tough-tacklin♒g maestro.
He left th🎉e Premier League giants with just nine first-team appearances to his name. Brannagan now has 68 games under his belt with Oxford and is a regular in Karl Robinson’s team.

The 🍎Anfield academy graduate is under no illusions that he made t🦹he right decision for his career.
“Iꦏ knew I made the right decision as soon as I came here🤡.
“I wanted to play football and kick-start my career. Co💮ming here has helped me do that. Everyone has been great with me. It was a bit difficult moving down at first because I’ve never really lived away from home.
Brannagan netted a superb fre🌜e-kick to see Oxford advance in the EFL Cup in midweek and he is relishing beinཧg a regular in the team.
“It ♔makes you feel like home. I look forward to 💯coming in.
“Once you get the flow of b🌜eing in with the boys and getting to play every week, it’s really good.
“You just feel the vibe and you want more of it.”
TBR Verdict – Could Brannagan be one that got away for Liverpool?
Liverpool fans will be happy to hear that Brannag🌺an is making his mark at another club, given how highly-🔯rated he was for a long time at Anfield.
The more he progres💮ses elsewhere, the more those supporters might just wonde🍷r if the club was a little quick to offload him permanently.

Brannagan plays in a position that he could💧 have perhaps thrived in at Liverpool.
The tough-tackling nature of the midfield three that Jurgen Klo🎉pp ofte♌n deploys would have been right up his street.
Okay, so you wouldn’t put him ahead of Naby Keita or Fabinho but n🅺onetheless, he♏ might have proved a useful squad player.
If Brannagan continues at his current rate he looks almost certain to play in the Championship and if he does wel🍒l there who knows where he🀅 could end up playing his football.
