Callum McGregor shares what he told Mitchel Frame at full-time after Celtic beat Feyenoord

Celtic captain, Callum McGregor, has shared what he told young Mitchel Frame after he made his Champions League debut against Feyenoord last night.

The youngster was brought on in place of Luis Palma in the 68th minute and made an instant impact. Frame immediately look✨ed to get on the front ♍foot and at every opportunity looked to attack the Feyenoord defence.

It was the 17-year-old’s attacking intent that won the corner that led to Gustaf Lagerbielke’s 90th-minute winner endi👍ng Celtic’ꦚs horrendous 10-year winless streak in the competition.

When asked at full-time if he was impressed with the youngster, McGregor said he was de🌳lighted with Frame’s mentality to cope🔜 with the occasion.

McGregor said [], “I said that to him coming off, you know, really elite level mentality to come into a game as top level as that in the Champions League to make your debut.

“Everything should be easy for him now.

“As I said, he’s a great kid, he works so hard. He’s got so much to go but pleased to get him on the pitch.
“He’s a real good lad. So pleased for him.”

The Celtic fans will be delighted to have seen Frame make not only his first team debut but to do it in the Champions League with such pressureও would have impressed them.

After signing a new deal in the summer, the 🏅versatile fullback now looks to have a bright future at the club and whilst expectations must be tempered, it does look like the youngster has a bit about him.

His confidence and belief shone through as did his ability on the ball and it seems like Celtic have a r💦ealꦡ talent on their hands.

All eyes will be on Brendan Rodgers to see if young Frame will be involved more in the Celtic first team in the coming weeks because, after last night’s show♛ing, it looks like nothing will✤ faze the young man.
