‘Brilliant’ Arsenal youngster could suddenly have future at the Emirates after impressing in the USA

Amid all of the good performances for Arsenal on their pre-season tour of the United States, one youngster has perhaps gone under the radar.

Rightly so, Ethan Nwaneri is being recognised as Arsenal’s future, a 17-year-old who evidently has the world at his feet.

In some respects, Nwaneri can be Arsenal’s David Silva, a left-footed magician who is equally adept in all advanced midfield positions.

Then there’s Ayden Heaven, who has looked a little out of his depth on occasion, particularly against Rasmus Hojlund when playing against Manchester United.

But the experience is still being hailed as a positive one for Heaven, who evidently has a lot of potential, and more importantly, he has the faith of Mikel Arteta.

And whilst it’s something of a surprise to see those two names receiving so many minutes, Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand’s involvement has been even more of a shock.

The 20-year-old Dutchman has looked incredibly tidy in possession stateside, and may now have changed some of Arteta’s plans.

Salah Eddine Oulad M’Hand may have changed Arsenal’s plans with US minutes

Oulad M’Hand spent last season on loan at Dutch side FC Den Bosch, making 20 appearances, scoring three goals and providing one assist.

From the outside, it would appear fair to conclude that Oulad M’Hand’s future was destined to be outside of north London, a player who had already missed his chance at Arsenal.

However, given just how effective the ‘brilliant’ youngster has been in the US with the ball at his feet, perhaps he could play a role for Arteta.

Both Edu and Arteta are determined to improve Arsenal’s squad depth, and perhaps Oulad M’Hand could provide back up across the midfield.

No one is suggesting that the 20-year-old is ready to start games regularly for the Gunners, but plans around his future may have dramatically changed.

The youngster reportedly has one-year left on his Arsenal deal, and perhaps the club may now consider offering him a new one.

Oulad M’Hand could then even head out on loan for a season in England, perhaps hoping to better his spell with Hull City in 2023.

The attacking midfielder evidently has talent, and at his age he appears ready to take his career to the next step.
