‘Biggest problem’… Brendan Rodgers now told the signing he must make a ‘priority’ at Celtic

Celtic and their transfer business has never left the headlines ever since the defeat to Lazio eliminated Brendan Rodgers’ side from the Champions League.

The Celtic manager has been vocal about adding more quality to the side ♐and there is one signing that radio pundit, Steven Mill, h🔴as told Rodgers that he must make a priority.

Joe Hart was caught floundering for the second week in a row as the Hoop🍸s keeper looked culpable for the St Johnstone openerꦬ in Celtic’s 3-1 win in Perth.

After that, Mill said that Brendan Rodgers must now look to replace Hart if he ever want💛s to progress in Europe next season.

Mill said [], “I said at the start of the Champions League campaign, Joe Hart is, I think, the biꩵggest problem for Celtic defen𒆙sively.

“Because you seen it with the goal yesterd𒈔ay [against St Johnstone] again.

“🅠If I were Brendan Ro🍷dgers a goalkeeper would be high on the priority list in January.”

I’ve said repeatedly on TBR Celtic that I am a huge fan of the 36-year-old treble-winner. But recently he has been found wanting and his inability to command his six-yard box has cost Celtic on ♉two occasions already this season.

It has to be pointed out that Hart has a♚lso saved Celtic on a number of occasiꦏons. If he doesn’t make that last-minute save at ♐the end of the St Johnstone game, dropped points again for Rodgers would have been pretty much guaranteed.

With the 36-year-old still to be offered a new deal, doubts remain whether he will be at Celtic💙 after this season as his contract 🅷expires at the end of May 2024.

There is no doubt Hart’s time at Celtic will always be looked upon fondly. The Celtic support will be hoping that Hart cuts the mistakes out as they wouldn’t wan﷽t the memories he created ovꦦer the past three seasons to be ruined.
