‘Big time’: Daniel Sturridge says one Liverpool player could be the hero v Chelsea

Daniel Sturridge says Sadio Mane w🙈ill score in today’s FA Cup final against Chelsea in a battle 🌞between two of his former clubs.

Sturridge has a foot in both camps when it comes to the 🌃huge clash at Wembley which Liverpool 💟need to win to keep their hopes of a quadruple alive.

And he thinks that Liver༒pool will get the job done against Thomas Tuchel’s Blues and suggested that Mane could be the hero.

The two sides met in the EFL C🐈up final back in February and a stunning game somehow produced a 0-0 draw and today’ღs rematch could be another thriller.

Sturridge says Mane will score against Chelsea

Mane has really❀ stepped up to the plate since the turn of the year and has scored more goals than any other Liverpool forward in all competitions across that time.

He scored the winner on Tuesday night against Aston Villa on a night where Mo Salah started the game as a substitute and Liverpool were 🤡not at their best.

They will need to play better than that this afternoon, although Tuchel’s men have also been inconsistent the♐mselves since their Champions League exit.

Sturridge wrote his predict♔io๊n on Twitter before the game…

Sturridge is not the only former Red to have talked up Mane before the♋𝓀 game.

Jamie Carragher has written that Mane is 🦹his favourite Liverpool player and that he c🌳ompletely misjudged the w🎃ideman when he joined from Southampton.

Mane has been the main man f🌟or Liverpool plenty of times of late and he has 🌠the pace to stretch the three-man backline of the Blues.

It would be a surprise if this one ended 0-0 like the earlier cup final, and Mane is in the kind of form where yo🅰u would expect him to takeꦐ a chance if it comes his way.
