‘Big problem’… Gabriel Agbonlahor says £36m Manchester United player never looks happy

Gabby Agbonlahor has now been discussing Manchester United’s potential transfer plans in the January window, and who should be leaving.

Erik ten Hag’s si𝕴de have been incredibly inconsistent in the first half of the season, adding the occasional good display to a run of disap൩pointing defeats.

And with January anꦜd the summer in mind, it’s clear that United’s squad still needs a ton of workꦫ.

The jury is out on whether the club’s current decision makers are best placed to lead that transition, but c🌼hange doesn’t seem to be on the short term horizon.

And with that being said, when speaking on , Agbonlahor identified one Man United pla⭕yer who should be sold in January.

The pundit was fed up with Anthony Martial’s attitude, saying he had become a real issue.

Agbonlahor said: “Well, I won’t say Antony because we’re alw🦂ays onto him so I’ll go with another Anthony, Anthony Martial.

“I feel that he underperforms, he’s moody, he doesn’t look like he’s happy to pl⛦ay football.

“Newcastle away he was thro🗹wing his a🙈rms up at Ten Hag on the pitch. His goal record is not great for a striker, 63 goals in 209 games.

“He’s one I’d get rid of, but whe♈n you’re earning good money and you’ve got a bad attitude like he has and you’re not performing, who’s going to 🍌want to buy you? Big problem.”

Gabby Agbonlahor says Man United need to sell Anthony Martial in January

Of course, it’s pretty hard to argue with ♍the mer🗹its of Agbonlahor’s words.

Rasmus Hojlund would massivel𝕴y benefit ღfrom added competition, a player whose had little time to adjust since his big money move.

At 28-years-old, Mar👍tial simply isn’t playing an important role at United, and it’s quite surprising he is still with the club.

Martial’s deal is set to expire in the summer🔯 so fans may imagine any January departure may not require a fee.

But either way, it seems very unlikely that Martial will still be a Manchester United player come the new season.

Agbonlahor is right to say that United need to offload players in January, even if his brief mention of Antony seems unlikely.

That being said, it seems the club may now be targeting a ‘special’ PL play🍌er in the near future.
