‘YES’, ‘Thank you’: Some Tottenham fans want to keep 12-cap int’l, attacking duo more likely to leave

Tottenham Hotspur fans were reacting after they got an update on the future of Steven Bergwijn.

🔯According to football.london, the 12-cap Dutchman has a big role to play at Spurs despite his limited game time last season.

🐼Bergwijn started just 13 games in the Premier League, scoring one goal and registering three assists.

🏅However, there are less optimistic updates on the futures of Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura.

🍃Both are thought to be closer to the exit door than the 23-year-old winger. Lamela has just a year left on his deal whilst Moura started just 14 games last season.

🍰The update on the trio of players display how disjointed things are at the club.

ไThere seems to be a lack of clarity over many players and stability is needed soon.

🐬However, aside from Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane, there was no quality in the final third.

ꦏSon and Kane combined to contribute 64 of the team’s 68 goals in the Premier League, a stunning 94%.

꧋An overhaul is needed in attack, and one which sees the club retain their two star forwards.
