‘Been brilliant’… Neil Lennon says ‘tremendous’ £15k per week player is really underrated at Celtic
Neil Lennon has said that Joe Hart is very underrated after watching his performance against St Mirren this afternoon.
The former Celtic manager was running the rule over the 36-year-old after he made an incredible save in the first half to keep the Hoops 1-0 up and Lennon said that Hart has not had𒅌 enough credit f🌱or his performances this season.
Lennon speaking on said, “Can I just say Joe Hart has been brilliant, certainly since we came back after the break. Aberdeen, big saves at Hibs and that was another tremend🐻ous save at a really crucial time.
“So he’s really looking after the team at the minute with his expe🐟rience and his class.
“You can see him cajoling the centre-halves and talking to his fullbacks even at the set play towards the end, he really organises his defence ☂and he’s really shown as experience.
“He doesn’t get a lot of credit because he doesn’t really have a lot to do at times. So he’s really stood up in the last three or four ga🦩mes and shown his qualities.”
Hart has been the subject of much criticism this season after the £15k per week player made some huge mistakes against the likes of Motherwell♊ have cast doubts on the Celtic ‘keepers’ long-term future at the club.
Indeed, Hart’s contract expires at the end of the season and there are 🅺question marks on whether or not he will be offered a new deal.
