‘Back with a bang’… Pundit blown away by 26-year-old Tottenham player recently
Michael Bridges has given his verdict on Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison after watching him in action against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United at Old Trafford this past weekend.
The pundit thinks that Richarlison is back playing good football and is enjoying his role in Ange Postecoglou’s team.
So, what has Michael Bridges said about Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison? Let’s take a look.
Praise for Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison
Well, Tottenham Hotspur played out a with Manchester United this past weekend.
Richarlison started the Premier League match for Tottenham at Old Trafford. The 26-year-old was deployed as the centre-forward in a 4-3-3 formation. Timo Werner, who did well on his debut for Spurs, and Brennan Johnson were on either flank.
The Brazil internati🦹onal🦂 forward scored in the 19th minute. It was his in as many Premier League matches.
Former Leeds United player and Optus Sport pundit Michael Bridges has noted the turnaround in the form of Richarlison and is pleased to see him do well aꦍt the moment.

Bridges said about Richarlison on : “Yes, he’s back and back with a bang! I think when the club and Ange talked about his off the field issues that he was having to handle with his menꩲtal side and what had been going on, I think the club handled that sensationally because now he looks like a player who is looking forward to putting on that Tottenham jeไrsey.
“He’s a player that’s relishing that number nine role and I think what we’ve seen, he’s able to get goals from an൩ywhere.
“So, I’m delighted, there’s nothing better than seeing a striker in great form and somebody who’s back enjoying th🥂eir football because at times it looked like he was just going to down tools, walk off and never see football again and we don’t want to see that🙈 when you’re talking about world-class players.
“He looks in a much better state of mind, goals always help that, performances help that and put a smile on your face. I’m just buzzing for him as a footballer rather than jꦜust a Spurs fan, it’s just great to see somebody back at ease with their life and sport.”
Richarlison needs to keep it up
In my opinion, Tottenham Hotspur and Brazil international forward Richarlison needs to🌱 keep up his current form.
While it is very good to see the former Everton and Watford star score goals and do well in attack, it is important tha꧑t he keeps at it and maintains the current high standards.
Tottenham need Richarlison, who has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, to score goals, especially during the absence of Son Heung-min because of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup. After all, Spurs are aiming🐠 to finish in the top four of the Pre🐭mier League table this season and perhaps even win the title.
