Aston Villa fans react on Twitter to Matheus Pereira reports

A number of Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to comment on that the Villans are monitoring Matheus Pereira.

Pereira has certainly boosted his chances of remaining in the Premier League next year – whatever happens to West Brom in the final games of the campaign.

The 24-year-old has scored four goals in his last four appearances, with his latest strike coming from the penalty spot in Sunday’s 2-2 draw with the Villans.

He is the Baggies’ top goalscorer with nine since promotion. Meanwhile, he has also provided five assists for Sam Allardyce’s men.

And it appears that he is now attracting plenty of attention. that a number of Premier League sides are interested in signing the Brazilian – and Villa are one of those in the running.

Dean Smith’s side need to add more creativity to their ranks this summer. They have really struggled without Jack Grealish in recent weeks.

Ross Barkley has not kicked on and looks set to return to Chelsea in the summer. So adding more quality in those areas behind Ollie Watkins looks to be essential.

And it seems that plenty of Villa fans would love to see Pereira – who earns £30,000-a-week, – arrive in the coming months. He should only get better in the coming years having already proved that he could be a devastating option at the highest level.
