Aston Villa fans react as Callum O’Hare joins Coventry City
Coventry City have snapped up the highly-rated Callum O’Hare following his departure from Aston Villa,
The 22-year-old departed Villa Park last month and has now signed a three-year contract with the Sky Blues.
O’Hare is tipped for big things and caught the eye with a series of stunning performances for Coventry last season.
He scored four goals and registered seven assists as Mark Robins led his team back into the Championship.

Some Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to discuss the departure of O’Hare, with the opinions relatively mixed.
Some supporters think he could have made the grade at Villa eventually, whilst others seem to think it’s ideal for him to head out and play some football.
O’Hare is worshipped by the Sky Blues supporters and as a Birmingham-born lad, they will hope he can help the club progress once again.
The youngster filled a number of roles for Robins last season but clearly relished his time in the No.10 role.
Coventry will be in the Championship next season and this season sends out a message that they aren’t going to be there to make the numbers up.
Here is a selection of tweets from Aston Villa supporters as O’Hare signs for a new club.
Coventry gain, villa's loss, brilliant prospect

I wouldn't say a perfect replacement as doubt we will have anyone of Grealish abilities on our books again but i get where your going with that,i have always liked O'Hare and no doubt hes got potential so was disappointed we didn't keep him

I like O’Hare and think he’s a tidy footballer but people are overhyping dramatically. He’s 22 now and managed only 3 goals and 4 assists in 29 games for the best team in League One… time will tell, but please stop acting like we’ve lost one of our best players.

Exactly. Jacob Ramsey managed the same amount of goals in 7 appearances for Doncaster Rovers in the same league and he’s 3 years younger.

Villa fans perception of our youth players is slightly biased. Is O’Hare ready to start for a top Championship team? No. We can’t afford to bed a player in. None of our youngsters have been good enough for years. Ramsey is probably nearly at that level and much younger.

Hope O’Hare goes on to have a decent career. Leaving Villa isn’t always a bad thing if you get games elsewhere. Bannan, Daniel Johnson, Baker, Lichaj etc are testament to that. Our academy produces decent players just rarely exceptional ones

People are daft. Purslow publicly criticised O’Hare in an interview and Gregg Evans reported that he was offered nothing yet STILL apparently he rejected two contracts. People need to wake up.
