Aston Villa fans erupt over ‘awesome’ news ahead of Liverpool trip
Aston Villa fans have been celebrating the news that Villans๐ฎ prodigy Cameron Archer has signed a new contract at the club.
๐ธOn Friday, Villa that the 20-year-old had put pen to paper on a deal until the summer of 2025.
๐ฐArcher is one of the most talented youngsters to come through the ranks at Bodymoor Heath in recent years.
๐ฒBorn in Walsall on 9 December 2001, the striker joined the Villa ranks aged six.
๐ทHe broke into the Under-23 side at the age of 16 and made his debut in 2019 against Crewe in the Carabao Cup.
๐ผArcher is now in and around the first team, with five senior appearances this term.
๊งHeโs also still featuring for the Under-21/23s, with six appearances in the Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy.
๐ดHowever, Archer has very much outgrown age-level football โ he has eight goals from those six games.
๐And in the Carabao Cup this season, heโs bagged four goals, including one against Chelsea.
Needless to say, Villa fans are excited about Archerโs future:
