Mathys Tel will be heading to North London on deadline day – not to Arsenal but to join Tottenham Hotspur.

The transfe✨r saga involvingಞ the Bayern Munich star has been an eventful one in the days leading up to the final hours of the transfer window.

Tel had turned down a move to Tottenham, and several reports claimed that their No🐭rth Lo൲ndon rivals Arsenal were still in the race to sign him.

However, the Gunners passed on that opportunity, and their plans for a new striker will likely frustrate many Arsenal fans.

Arsenal have been in need of 🦩a nꦗew striker for several windows now.

Mikel Arteta is yet to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the Emirates, and the Gabon 🦩international🎃 left the Gunners three full years ago.

Arsenal fans have been hoping to see their side sign🗹 a new number nine on deadline day, but there is some bad news on that front now.

Dean Jones has revealed in his report on that Arsenal a𝓰re set to stick with what they have got in the current transfer window.

“The feeling amongst various sources is that they will now wait until the summer before making a pledge towards a player in the ilk of either Alexander Isak or Benjamin Sesko,” the report claims.

Arteta is expected to make a ‘huge signing’ up front for Arsena𝕴l in the summer, and that is obviously good news for next season.

But🍷, for now, the Gunners will have to rely on Kai Havertz to get them the goals to catch Liverpool in the Premier League title race.

The♛ Gunners held talks with Bayern Munich over a deal to sign the talented Frenchman, but Arteta’s side decided again✨st signing him because of the structure of the deal.

TBR Football can reveal that Arsenal wanted to have a bu🔯y option included in൲ any deal for Tel, but🌃 Spurs agreed to sign him on a straight loan.

Arsenal had no interest in helping deve𒅌lop a player and then not have an option to sign him permanently. So, they pulled out of the deal.

That ๊oꦐpened the door for Tottenham, who look set to seal the deal for Tel before the deadline.
